Pranayama & Meditation
Pranayama is the practise of conscious breathing to train your lungs and improve capacity of the respiratory system. It positively affects your nervous system. It has calming and balancing effect on the mind. Pranayama workshops help you learn the basic techniques for daily practise on your own. A minimum of 6-7 breathing techniques and 4 meditation techniques are taught in the pranayama workshops.
Pranayama improves lung capacity, oxygen absorption in the cells leading to better health. It balances and harmonises the nervous system and mind. It improves mood , memory and concentration. It has calming and energising effect.
Meditation or Dhyana is a contemplation state to be absorbed in a state of equanimity. Meditation improves mood, memory, concentration and creativity. It reduces anxiety , negativity and stress. It combats ageing and inflammation.
Pranayama workshops cover both theory and practise of Pranayama and Meditation, and are open for all ages, without any prior experience with Yoga
