Why the Pancha Koshas?

Ancient yoga philosophy describes the Pancha Koshas—the five sheaths or layers of our embodiment—as the roadmap to our complete well-being. These layers, from the physical body to the innermost bliss, hold the key to balance, vitality, and healing.

This course is not about being told what you lack. Instead, it is about rediscovering your innate capacity to heal, guided by the higher intelligence that already sustains your life. By learning to align with this inner intuition, you make space for healing, acceptance, and transformation to unfold naturally.


About the Course

Across five 90-minute sessions, we will explore each kosha with a focus on wellness and healing:

  • Annamaya Kosha (Physical Body): building awareness of health through movement, diet, and care.

  • Pranamaya Kosha (Energy Body): balancing energy through breath and subtle practices.

  • Manomaya Kosha (Mind): cultivating emotional balance, calm, and clarity.

  • Vijnanamaya Kosha (Wisdom): accessing inner guidance and self-awareness.

  • Anandamaya Kosha (Bliss): reconnecting with joy, ease, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

Each session will include:

  • Theory: grounding in yogic wisdom and practical understanding.

  • Practice: movement, meditation, and Yoga Nidra tailored to each Kosha.

  • Self-Reflection: guided journaling prompts and inner inquiry to support integration.

    I signed up for the course because the subject matter and the duration both fit well into my schedule and requirements.
    Sahana not only has a very soothing presence and nature, she has a way of putting people at ease while she facilitates the interaction amongst diverse groups.
    The takeaways are simple but helpful and there are no “musts” in anything.
    The learning is guided but with plenty of time and scope for introspection and reflection.
    I have done two different programs with Sahana and have been able to apply them in my daily routine and found a positive change as well.
    I would recommend her sessions because they combine a multi-pronged approach to wellness- inside out.

    Firstly Arigatogozaimasu .
    1.Yes, there are lots of take away from this course.
    2.Post this course, we tried to practice the takeaways, it was challenging initially but we ( Me & my better half ) didn’t gave up. No we both could see a true enhancement both in personal life & our own faculties. I truly call this as small success.
    3.The course was very technical & beautifully unfolded. ( K/O, purpose, steps, technicality, slides, images etc )
    4.Of course economics, not so expensive.

    A very well planned and detailed talk which took us through basic concepts in a very sophisticated manner. Each concept was well explained with pictorial depiction for better understanding. I loved the end of the workshop where we were made to do an activity, thought it seemed simple in the beginning, I felt it had touched a deeper layer of my consciousness and made my feel much better and happier.

    I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to improve their lifestyle, as following the tips and advices shared in this talk will definitely bring us close to healthier mind and body
