Hatha means force or effort,. Hatha Yoga is a classical yoga focusing on steadying the body, breath and mind to prepare for deeper spiritual quests. The style of Hatha yoga taught by me suits all ages and is focused on improving overall wellbeing of the practitioners focusing on 5 points
Proper Exercise (Asanas): Physical exercises for improving flexibility of joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles, stimulating circulation, improving strength and flexibility of the spine to keep the body youthful.
Proper Breathing (Pranayama): Breathing exercises to connect to the energy level of body by increasing awareness of breath to overcome stress and other mental/emotional blockages.
Proper Relaxation (Savasana): Conscious relaxation to overcome stress and develop resistance against stress to live with ease and perform efficiently.
Proper diet: Conscious eating focused on yogic diet principles.
Positive Thinking and Meditation: Applying Sakshi Bhava and Pratipaksha Bhava to eliminate negative thought patterns and experience inner peace by removing the mental agitations.
